In this Progress web business application demonstration, the demo company, Principal Industries, has developed an Order Entry system utilizing the AppPro for OpenEdge framework. The sample order entry programs provide examples of the standard functionality provided in the AppPro for OpenEdge framework such as Menuing, Data Grids, Tabs, and Search Autocomplete, in addition to many other productivity enhancing features.
The second application for the the demo company, Principal Industries, is a Staff Training and Education Program (STEP) application that was also built using the AppPro for OpenEdge framework. With STEP, the company's education coordinators can set-up and administer continuing education courses. Additionally, employees may register for courses offered on the company's web site.
